The usage of the Ruby Programming Language is rapidly spreading. This year, the anticipation is growing for the announcement of the development results of Lightweight Ruby, and for its real world application. In addition, the language specification of Ruby has been accepted as an International Standard by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the adoption of Ruby is expected to increase more than ever.

Moreover, Ruby is not only expanding as a software development tool. It is leaving its mark on the very being of software and on development processes and is presenting a new culture and a new world to the people who are involved with it.

This year, the Ruby World Conference will again be introducing leading edge usage examples and the latest movements in technology, and thus invites you to discover the Ruby ecosystem, and the new world that Ruby opens up before us.

November is the height of Tourist Season. We highly recommend both early registration and booking the hotel where you want to stay ASAP.
